Sara Roe

Sara began her professional ballet career with Carolina Ballet in 2017. During her time with the

company, she performed a wide variety of works by renowned choreographers including Robert

Weiss, Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Zalman Raffael, George Balanchine, and Jerome Robbins.

Some of her featured roles included Coffee in The Nutcracker, Tall Girl in Fancy Free, Alice

in Picnic on the Grass, and a Princess in Swan Lake. She also performed a leading role in an

original work created by Robert Weiss for his ballet Dialogues, which was presented at

the American Dance Festival’s 50th Anniversary Opening Night.

In addition to her professional performing career, Sara has spent many years sharing her passion

for dance with students throughout Wake County. She has also been a repeat guest teacher

for NC State’s Dance Program Master Class Series.

Sara holds a B.S. in Business Administration from NC State University, with concentrations

in Marketing and Business Analytics.
