Luke Potgieter

Luke Potgieter began ballet training at the School of American Ballet (SAB) at age 9 under Olga Kostritzky, Garielle Whittle, Jock Soto, Johnathan Stafford, Sean Lavery and Andrei Kramarevsk. Upon graduating, he joined the Cleveland Ballet (CB) directed by Gladisa Guadalupefor their 2015-2016 preview season, where Mr. Potgieter performed in collaborations with Neos Dance Theater. 

In 2016, Mr. Potgieter joined Pacific Northwest Ballet’s (PNB) Professional Division and in 2017 joined the Carolina Ballet.  Mr. Potgieter is currently a soloist dancer with Carolina Ballet.

Mr. Potgieter teaches the Advanced ballet students and Pas de Deux classes at the Triangle Academy of Dance.
