Where: A.J Fletcher Auditorium at the Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts, downtown Raleigh.

“Dress Rehearsal” is a closed rehearsal-no parents will be allowed in the auditorium.

Act I- Check-in at 3:45 - 4pm. CYB Parent Volunteers need to arrive at 3:30pm!

4:30-5:30pm Family Scene

5:30-6:00pm Battle Scene.

6:00-6:30pm Snow Scene.

6:30-6:45pm Act I Bows. (Everyone in Act I)

(These children may be picked up at the back door at 7:00pm, if not dancing in Act II.

Dancers must hang up their costumes neatly & leave them in the dressing rooms overnight!).

*6:45-7:15pm Dinner Break for staff & dancers.

Act II- Check-in at 6:30 pm.

7:15-7:30pm Act II Coda (All Act II dancers).

7:30-8:15pm Angels & Attendants dance, Chinese, Marzipan & Lambs, Spanish.

8:15-8:45pm Russian, Arabian, Mother Ginger with Polichinelles, Candy Canes & Ginger Breads.

(Young dancers not in “Flowers” may be picked up at the back door at approx. 9pm to 9:15pm - i.e. Angels & Lambs will be ready by 9 pm & then the rest should be ready by 9:15 pm.)

8:45-9:45pm Flowers & Sugar Plum Pas de Deux; these dancers ready for pick-up at 10 pm.

Dancers should arrive already fed, with their stage make-up and hair ready, and with their camisole leotards on under their regular clothes. Costumes will be put on in the dressing rooms, and dancers will be assisted by the CYB Parent Volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign-up on the CYB board near Studio III. Dancers are to enter through the rear of A.J Fletcher Theater, behind Shaw University.

A CYB Parent Volunteer, wearing a CYB badge will assist the dancers from the car pool line, through the breezeway, into the theater. If you arrive at a time when “no volunteer” is standing there, please walk your child down the breezeway to the check-in table.

This is also the area where you will collect your dancer!

*Parking is available in the Lot across from the Theater, and in the parking garage on McDowell Street.
